2024年春まで海上保安庁に勤務。海上保安庁では、主に海洋汚染物質等の化学分析業務に従事し、海洋環境保全に関わる仕事にも携わった。環境問題に興味を持ち、在職中に武蔵野大学通信教育部大学院（環境マネジメント専攻）にて修士課程修了。気候変動問題に取り組める仕事としてClimate Integrateへの参画を希望、2024年に参加。

Yukimi Yamazaki

Yukimi Yamazaki worked for the Japan Coast Guard until the spring of 2024, mainly as a chemist analyzing marine pollutants, with some of her work also involving marine environmental protection. Pursuing a long-standing interest in the environment, she concurrently earned a masters in environmental management by distance learning at the Graduate School of Musashino University. Motivated by a passion to tackle the problem of climate change, she joined the Climate Integrate team in 2024.
