Climate Integrate: Design the Possible – Our New Website and Data Platform

Climate Integrate unveiled its new website under the new approach Design the Possible. To unlock possibilities for decarbonization and empowering people that change is possible, we will make our research and data easier than ever to find, understand, and use.

Key features of the new website include:

New Data Platform:
Tools to Explore, Compare, and Think

We have brought together key climate- and energy-related data. Users can interact with open data, select parameters according to their needs, and download images and files.

Two entry points offer different ways to explore the data: Data Highlights presents key information by theme, and Data Explorer allows users to examine detailed datasets.

Making Expertise More Accessible:
Information for Different Needs, and a New “Columns” Section

Climate Integrate conducts research across multiple fields and shares its insights with diverse stakeholders.

The updated Resources page allows you to find our content, including Reports—our research and analysis— and Insights—focused analytical perspectives— easier.

Our new Columns section will provide clear and timely information from four perspectives:

  • Basics — Explanation of essential knowledge
  • Trends — Timely coverage of current topics
  • Updates — Follow-up analysis tracking developments over time
  • Opinions — Contribution to media outlets

We also plan to expand our video content.

Message from CEO Kimiko Hirata

To address climate change, facts matter. Yet even when the facts are clear, decisions can still be delayed because change is seen as “too difficult” or “unrealistic.” What matters is connecting science, society, and policy—and bringing together facts and stories. We take on the challenge to Design the Possible to drive social change. Our new website and communications are a platform to advance this work. We hope you will find many ways to make use of them.
