Yuka Manabe

Yuka is a Corporate Analyst at Climate Integrate, where she researches and analyzes corporate climate strategies and emissions data, with a focus on Japanese companies. She also contributes to research on climate policy, developments including Japan’s emissions trading system (GX-ETS), and explores pathways for ambitious corporate decarbonization.

Before joining Climate Integrate in April 2025, she worked at ISS ESG from 2017, conducting ESG research and assessments covering companies, real estate, and infrastructure, and later managing ESG products for institutional investors. She relocated from Munich to Tokyo in 2022.

Yuka holds a master’s degree in international economics from the University of Tübingen in Germany. In her free time, she continues to practice artistic gymnastics and plays the violin in orchestras and chamber music ensembles.
