Yusuke Numata

Yusuke graduated from Kyoto University’s Faculty of Letters in 2016 and joined Nomura Research Institute (NRI) the same year. At NRI’s headquarters and overseas offices, he worked in research and consulting on energy and climate change.

Across Japan, Singapore, and India, his work covered renewable energy, the power sector, hydrogen and ammonia, battery storage, and other areas central to decarbonization, as well as electricity-intensive sectors and applications such as electric vehicles and data centers. He conducted research on policy and regulatory treands; markets and industry structure; new business strategies and opportunities in the context of the energy transition; overseas business strategy and support for infrastructure exports by Japanese companies; and policy development support for Japanese government-related organizations.

He joined Climate Integrate in 2026.
