Researcher

Ragini hails from Assam, North-East India, where she has witnessed the harsh realities of climate change. Driven by a desire to make a difference, she moved to Japan to study Environmental Science in 2017. She earned her undergraduate (2021) and post-graduate (2023) degree in biology, focusing on climate change, forest ecology and biodiversity, from the University of Tsukuba. Following her studies, Ragini worked as a forest planner with a Japanese forestry company, where she gained valuable experience in sustainable forest management.

Shejoined the Climate Integrate team as a researcher in 2024. Her work is grounded in the belief that climate change and biodiversity loss are interconnected crises that must be addressed together for a sustainable future.
