Joint Seminar: Exploring Carbon Neutrality and Regional Economic Development

Climate Integrate supports regional decarbonization efforts. In tackling global challenges, we support regions in understanding local conditions, overcoming region-specific issues, and achieving carbon neutrality while advancing regional development.
We are supporting a seminar to be held in Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture, where Climate Integrate will give a presentation.

Responding to climate change is a shared and urgent global challenge, and developed countries are accelerating the phase-out of coal-fired power generation. At the same time, the energy supply crisis triggered by Russia's invasion of Ukraine and soaring electricity prices are casting a shadow over economic growth. Amid these circumstances, this seminar will discuss how to achieve decarbonization while creating green industries and capturing the jobs and economic benefits they can generate, and what citizens and local businesses should consider as they plan for this transition.
